Senior Certified Planner, Wedding Minister,
and President of Savagely Good Stuff, Inc.
Jan Sokolowski became a certified wedding
and event planner after graduating from the U.S. Career Institute
in 2007. At age15, she began working in the wedding and event
planning industry, including diamond and tuxedo sales.
In 2006, she traveled the United States
with the Ford Experience Tour, utilizing her marketing skills
learned while at Wilkes University. Her time with Ford gave
Jan the additional knowledge needed to execute large scale
events. Very passionate about the revitalization of Northeastern,
PA, Jan could not think of a better place to settle her family
and open Attention 2 Perfection.
In order to meet additional client needs,
Jan became an ordained wedding
minister and now officiates ceremonies in addition to
her other duties as planner and business owner.
In July of 2009, Jan went from owner to
President as her company incorporated as Savagely Good Stuff,
Inc. Jan currently resides in Plains, Pennsylvania with her
family and three rescued dogs, Lacey, Sierra, and Princess.

Accredited Junior Planner
Kristin McGuinness has always loved planning events.
From sleepovers when she was 12 to parties in her 20's, she loves
to pull off a great time. After graduating from Baptist Bible College
in 2004 with her BS in Pre-Counseling, Kristin spent some time back
in her home state of New Jersey, but decided on pursuing a career
in the wedding and event industry in NEPA.
With her background in counseling, she brings an understanding of
people and their particular needs to her position. Having been employed
in the service industry for years, Kristin provides a unique blend
of knowledge and experience to her clients.
In 2008, Kristin attended the CAES course given by well-known wedding
planners Jennifer Orsini and Samantha Goldberg. She recently finished
her course of study with the Association of Bridal Consultants Professional
Development Program. Kristin has since been involved in the coordinating
of numerous weddings and events and is enjoying continuing her education
with Attention 2 Perfection.
With her contagious enthusiasm and her ability to make every client
feel understood and special, Kristin is definitely someone you want
giving creativity and great style to your special occasion. |
 Started by
Jan Sokolowski as a home-based sole proprietorship in 2007, Attention
2 Perfection has nearly tripled its business in only 2 years. Always
offering comprehensive planning services, A2P has grown with the
demands of its clients, and now offers a wide variety of wedding
and event solutions. This includes destination planning services,
extended design, rentals, and even wedding officiating!
May of 2009 brought more excitement to Attention
2 Perfection, moving from Jan’s residence to its new office
in Forty Fort. Located at 900 Rutter Avenue, A2P is privileged to
be in the ultra-artsy building that is also home to Sa-Ka-Ri Salon,
UBU Clothing, and Jen Dressler Photography just to name a few.
In July of 2009, Attention 2 Perfection was incorporated
under the name Savagely Good Stuff, Inc. This name pays homage to
Jan’s grandfather, John A. Savage, with whom she had a very
close relationship. Even more ‘good stuff’ will be seen
in 2010 with the addition of a custom jewelry and clothes line designed
and produced by the Savage Family. This will include the already
popular wedding items associated with Attention 2 Perfection.
